This is exciting! India’s advanced aviation ecosystem is gathering incredible momentum, and it looks really promising. Blu J Aerospace based out of Hyderabad is building an aircraft (VTOLwhich will have the ability to take off and land vertically, requiring no airports. All that they need is a vertiport having an area of 10by 10 sq metres and the best part is that it does not need any expensive Aviation Tubine Fuel(ATF) to propel its aircraft.

It will run on hydrogen causing zero emission and can fly from Hyderabad to Amravati s in around 60 minutes. Another feature of this aircraft is that it is autonomous-meaning it needs no pilots to take control of the aircraft. All that needs to be done is input the landing location, and that’s about it !

Currently, the company is building aircraft for logistics and also working on a passenger version. The cargo aircraft is expected to be up and running by early next year. The aircraft is made and assembled in Hyderabad .This would be a incredible achievement for an Indian company and could revolutionise the aviation sector and could very well turn it into the Uber and Porter of Indian Skies!
