Dr Anupam Sibal is a renowned Paediatrician having a rich experience of 30+ years. Dr Sibal completed his MBBS from the Maulana Azad Medical College in 1987. He also completed his MD-Pediatrics from the University of Delhi in 1991. Dr Anupam Sibal is Group Medical Director at Apollo Hospitals and can be consulted at his clinic at C-378 Defence Colony (Mon-Sat) between 7-8 pm by appointment. Dr Sibal can also be consulted at  Apollo Hospital, Sarita Vihar, Delhi.

Dr Sibal joined Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Delhi in the year 1997 and became the Medical Director of Apollo Group of Hospitals at a very young age. He established the Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department at Apollo Hospitals in Delhi in 1997. Dr Sibal helped in setting up the first successful pediatric liver transplant programme in India in the year 1998. In the year 2003, Dr Sibal was appointed as the Medical Director of Apollo Hospital. Then, in the year 2005, he was appointed as the Group Medical Director of the Apollo Hospitals Group.

In the year 2005, Dr Sibal helped achieve the First International Accreditation of a Hospital in India by Joint Commission International (JCI), and he is currently a member, Asia-Pacific Advisory Council of JCI. In January 2017, Dr Sibal was appointed as the Vice President of Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO).

Dr Sibal is the recipient of South Delhi IMA Award for Excellence in Paediatric Gastroenterology (2004), Delhi Medical Association Award for contribution to Medical Education ( 2005) and MAMCOS Outstanding Achievers Award (2009). He was also awarded the prestigious Indira Gandhi Appreciation Award by the National Medicos Forum. He was awarded “Vashisht Chikitsa Ratan Award” by Delhi Medical Association in June 2013. He is the recipient of Ko Awatea Award in Patient Safety at APAC Forum in Auckland (2015).

Dr Sibal is the author of a bestseller book “Is your child ready to face the World?” The book talks about parenting and answers whether your child is ready to face the world or not. Dr Sibal also edited a textbook in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, which was published by Jaypee Brothers and Published Ltd. In the year 2015.

Dr Sibal is the member of the Regional Middle East International Advisory Board of JCI since 2011. He is a member of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Advisory Committee since 2014. Dr Sibal has also worked as a member of the Institute Body of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh from 2009- 2014. He has also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Paediatrics, School of Medicine, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia from 2009 -2015

Dr Sibal has served on the Executive Council of the Asian Pan Pacific Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition, Commonwealth Association of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, International Pediatric Transplant Association and Indian Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition.

Dr Sibal is a member of many elite medical associations like British Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Indian Association for Study of the Liver and Indian Medical Association.
