Imagine this! You are working up late someday; you are so busy with your work that you have completely forgotten what time is it. You wish to get the work done fast. You complete the work and leave for your home.

You look down at your watch; it is 11 pm. You reach your home and see that she is waiting for you at the dinner table. She looks tired, but as soon as she sees you, a bright smile comes on her face.

She starts serving food to you and makes sure that you finish everything on the plate. After you are done eating, she takes the last piece of bread and eats it with pickle as there is no vegetable left. You wish you had realised that she hadn’t eaten anything. But, she looks happy because you are not hungry.

Why did she do that; why did she sacrifice her own food? Why, because she is a mother!

A mother is the God’s greatest gift for children. Mother is someone who pampers her kids, give all the love to them and can also become fierce when needed.

Mother’ is someone who can be your friend, an advisor and a caretaker. She can be anything that can make her children happy.

There is a famous quote that says, ‘A Mother can take the place of anyone, but no one can take the place of a mother.’ The quote is very true!

Baby and Mother

Whenever we do any mistake or feel sad or dejected, we immediately go to our mother. It is because we know she is the only one who may judge us for a while, or may get furious, sad or angry; but in the end, she is the only one who will not leave our side and be emotionally available for us.

Movies like ‘Mother India’, ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘Paa’, ‘Terms of Endearment’, ‘Mask’, etc. portray very well the love mothers have for their kids. A mother can make any sacrifice for the sake of her child’s happiness, and that is exactly what is shown in these movies.

Mother is the emotional backbone of a family. She is the one who can do anything to protect her family. She teaches all the right life lessons to her kids and makes them learn the value of life.

A mother always supports the dreams of her children, and the success of kids gives all the happiness of the world to a mother.
