Is your child painting the entire house with squiggles and doodles? What do you do? Clean it? Certainly not; use it, preserve it, because your child may be a budding artist. You feel immensely proud when your baby holds the pencil for the first time and makes something on the wall or the floor. Deciphering the innumerable lines that run over a page is a tough task, but you rarely give up. As days pass the lines, take shape and form cats and alphabets that make you proud. Without the right control over hands, the shapes and outlines are far from perfect, but the concept amazes you and keeps you wondering where they all come from.

While collecting them is such a pleasant experience that you can have a huge chunk of papers which can be put to better use. The first ones usually make their way to the walls, but after a point of time, it becomes virtually impossible to accommodate all of them there. You need to bring a method to this madness, and many ways are available if you have the heart for it.

• Sorting out the good from the bad ones is very important. It will send a lot of them to the waste bin .Once the pile is cleared away, and the good ones are kept aside you can start thinking about how to keep them properly and use them in a way that will not get them wasted.

• Storing them in computer memory can save time and space. Over the years, many more are supposed to gather which you will have to accommodate as well. Also using them for further use becomes easier because in most cases you will be using a computer to do the designing.

• Using drawings as your profile pictures instead of photographs on social networking sites is a great way of showcasing them and making a statement. You can keep changing the pictures from time to time to add colour to your account and make sure to pick the best ones since they will get a lot of ‘likes’.

• Framing the best ones on the walls can make them colourful and encourage the children to improve their art. It helps them gain confidence in their work. Putting them on your blog is also a bright idea. You can write about them and upload them for everyone to see.

• The cute pictures painted by the children make excellent gifts for near ones like grandparents and teachers who love them. Just frame the best ones and gift them.

• You can even think about selling your child’s artwork and making a donation of the funds raised. It is not only an enterprising idea, but it can help in spreading your child’s name as a budding artist. Also, if you encourage the child to make drawings on a certain theme, it can be used for creating awareness as well thereby contributing to a social cause.

Little Creations by any child are precious and showcase immense potential only if it is honed in the best possible way. Encouragement and support bring joy to the child and a sense of satisfaction to you as the parent.
