Love pasta, cereal and candy but you want to have that flat tummy? Sorry, you’ll have to stay away from these foods if you wish to continue with the Paleo Diet! Do not worry you can replace your pasta with paleo spaghetti. But what exactly is this Paleo Diet? Let’s discuss in detail.

The Paleo Diet can be defined as an effort to eat like we used to eat back in the day! In layman language, following the Paleo Diet is giving up modern foods! Paleo Diet is generating a lot of buzzes these days, and it’s often called “the caveman diet” Why? Simple! Just try answering this question that what would a caveman eat?  The caveman used to eat anything he could hunt or gather, right? He used to eat meats, fish, leafy greens, nuts, seeds and some local veggies. Remember that Social Studies book, when you were probably a primary school kid? Ever saw any caveman’s photo with a big fat tummy? You would probably say no!

The Palio Diet includes a good ratio of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, lessens the glycemic load of the body, increases vitamin and nutrient consumption, and there’s an optimal balance of fat, protein and carbohydrates.  So, isn’t Paleo Diet what our ancestors supposedly used to eat?

1. Cucumber
